When the days grow short and the roads are dark, you need more than just driving skills. Understanding how darkness affects you as a road user is an important step on the path to your driver's license—it can truly save lives. "Trafikant i mørket" isn't just a requirement—it's an experience that leaves a lasting impression. At ADAPT, we make it educational, authentic, and engaging. The course is offered only between November 1 and March 15. New dates are posted before the start of each season.

Why you need to take “Trafikant i mørket” (Night Driving)

To obtain your driver’s license, you must complete night driving—but it’s about more than just fulfilling a requirement. The course gives you an understanding of how darkness affects your vision, reaction time, and risk assessment. You’ll learn what it takes to travel safely—both as a driver and as a vulnerable road user. The course is part of the mandatory training program and is carried out as a demonstration in a car—with professional guidance along the way.
